2025 “Third Space” Bamboo-Membrane Structure in Jhihben
Custom membrane structure/bamboo architecture/outdoor exhibition space/art installation/PVC waterproof membrane
Initiated by the Association of Humanitarian Architecture, Third Space is the first bamboo structure completed in Taitung by the Taimali Workshop. Combining local natural surroundings and the spirit of collaborative building, it creates an outdoor space that coexists with the forest. Taiwan-made PVC waterproof membrane was custom-cut and installed on-site to form a lightweight outer layer that provides wind and rain protection while offering soft illumination at night, bringing warmth and vitality to the space.
